Pathway upgrades and an ethical data co-op.

The Daisychain Team

It’s been a little while since our last update, but we’ve been hard at work to help organizers run smarter, more effective campaigns.

Just in case you haven’t checked out the platform recently: Daisychain is an organizing CRM focused on bringing together data, outreach, and automated workflows – all in one place. Here are a few new features to help you do that even better:

⚡ Automations INSIDE a Pathway

Daisychain lets you build structured, stage-based supporter journeys which we call Pathways.

You’ve always been able to add people to a Pathway using an Automation, but with our latest update, you can trigger Automations when someone moves within a Pathway.

For example, when someone in my Volunteer Recruitment Pathway moves from the “Supporter” stage to the “Volunteer” stage, you can trigger an Automation to:

  1. Tag a contact as “Volunteer”
  2. Assign them to an Organizer
  3. Send a personalized message from that Organizer inviting them to the next Volunteer Training event on Mobilize

To use this new feature, just click the lightning bolt icon (⚡) on top of any Pathway and start building!

🌈 Pathway Glow-Up: Colors + Recent Pathway List

Pathways are where you track progress, from recruitment to leadership development. We’ve made them easier to manage:

  1. Add color labels for visual clarity
  2. Jump back into recently viewed Pathways from the main list

Small upgrades that have big usability gains for organizers using Pathways every day.

🤝 Anonymized Data Co-OpYou can now opt in to anonymously share and receive engagement activity from other organizations using Daisychain. If you do:1. You’ll be able to build a list of people that are already in your Daisychain account that are active and engaged in other accounts that have also opted into the co-op – without ever sharing contact info.

2. You'll be able to better target to high-interest contacts. The Anonymized Data Co-Op helps you reactivate lapsed supporters and run more effective campaigns with higher ROI.

Unlike other data-sharing models, Daisychain’s Co-Op is opt-in, anonymized, and limited to people already in your account – so you can improve targeting without compromising supporter privacy.

New in Daisychain: A/B Testing

We’ve launched A/B testing in Daisychain, making it simple for any team to experiment with different SMS messages. Write different message variants, use an intuitive slider to set your test size, see side-by-side stats on replies, clicks, conversions, and opt-outs, and get a built-in significance check before sending the winner to the rest of your audience. A feature once reserved for power users is now accessible to everyone.

iOS 26 is coming. Here’s what it means for texting.

Apple’s iOS 26 update introduces a feature called Screen Unknown Senders. It changes how some messages show up on iPhones—but the good news is, it’s off by default. For organizations that prioritize real conversations and supporter trust, this update is more opportunity than obstacle. We put together a quick guide on what’s changing, what isn’t, and how to make sure your messages keep showing up.

New Feature: Suggested Quick Replies

Quick Replies got smarter. Daisychain can now suggest the most relevant Quick Reply based on an incoming message from your supporter, and pre-populate the message in the composition box. Our hope is that this saves valuable time, keeps conversations moving, and eliminates a bit of busywork.
