Something new and a gift for you

The Daisychain Team

2025 was a busy year for our team at Daisychain: we launched A/B testing, suggested quick replies, smarter opt-out handling, personalized email automations (we're multi-channel now!), and lots of pathway upgrades.

But one of the most exciting things we’ve been working on has been under wraps…until now.

Daisychain is hitting the ground running in 2026 with a big new feature called Flows.

Flows introduce a new way to have personalized, branching conversations with supporters over text – harnessing smart conversation design and AI. But Flows aren't limited to texting with a generic chatbot: they answer detailed questions about your campaign, look up legislators and voting info, schedule follow-ups, record data – and lots more.

We built Flows to be flexible (you write the instructions and design the conversation tree) but we're already seeing strong use cases emerge: voter registration, GOTV, advocacy, event recruitment, fundraising, and candidate recruitment.

On January 22nd, we're hosting a webinar to show how Flows work in practice. We'll be joined by Brigid Flaherty, a community organizer from Mother Forward. Mother Forward is a grassroots group that’s supporting moms across the country to fight for issues like affordable childcare and paid family leave – and Brigid will give you a peek behind the curtain on how they’re using Flows to scale up their organizing efforts. You can RSVP to the Webinar here.

One more thing: Daisychain will be briefly unavailable tonight (Thursday, December 19th) at 10pm ET for about an hour while we perform a database upgrade to ensure our systems are lightning fast as we move into next year.

We know many of you are wrapping up final projects and winding down before the break – we hope you get some well-earned rest and time with the people you care about.

In the spirit of the season, you can fill out a quick form on our website and we'll text you a personalized holiday GIF with a little-known Daisychain factoid – and the first 10 signups will get a little something sweet in the mail, too.

New in Daisychain: A/B Testing

We’ve launched A/B testing in Daisychain, making it simple for any team to experiment with different SMS messages. Write different message variants, use an intuitive slider to set your test size, see side-by-side stats on replies, clicks, conversions, and opt-outs, and get a built-in significance check before sending the winner to the rest of your audience. A feature once reserved for power users is now accessible to everyone.

iOS 26 is coming. Here’s what it means for texting.

Apple’s iOS 26 update introduces a feature called Screen Unknown Senders. It changes how some messages show up on iPhones—but the good news is, it’s off by default. For organizations that prioritize real conversations and supporter trust, this update is more opportunity than obstacle. We put together a quick guide on what’s changing, what isn’t, and how to make sure your messages keep showing up.

New Feature: Suggested Quick Replies

Quick Replies got smarter. Daisychain can now suggest the most relevant Quick Reply based on an incoming message from your supporter, and pre-populate the message in the composition box. Our hope is that this saves valuable time, keeps conversations moving, and eliminates a bit of busywork.
